Bharat | 3rd August 2018

Design Thinking process is a design methodology that gives a solution-oriented approach to resolving problems. It is immensely beneficial in handling complicated problems that are unclear and unknown, by apprehending the human requirements included, by re-framing the difficulties in human-centric methods, by building multiple ideas in brainstorming sessions, and by getting an experienced approach is creating wireframes and testing. These five phases of Design Thinking will authorize anyone to appeal for the Design Thinking procedures in order to resolve difficult problems that exist around us, in our organizations, our nations, and even in our world.

Essential Phases In The Design Thinking Process:

Empathising

The initial stage of the Design Thinking process is to attain an empathic knowledge of the problem you are trying to resolve. This includes consulting professionals to search out more about the region of concern through engaging, observing, and empathizing with people to apprehend their expertise and ambitions, as well as engaging yourself in the physical environment to have an in-depth personal understanding of the issues entangled. Describing Problems

In this stage, you put together the knowledge you have built and collected during the Empathising sections. You will inspect your considerations and synthesize them in order to explain the main problems that you and teammates have recognized up to this point. You should ask to describe the particular problem as a statement in a human-centric way. This section helps the designer of your team to get out of the box characteristics, functions and rest of the components that will support them in resolving the problems.

Forming Ideas

In this third section of the Design Thinking process, designers start producing ideas. You have developed yourself to understand your users and their requirements in the Empathising section and end with a human-centric problem sheet. With this, you and your teammates can start to think unique to search for new solutions according to the problem sheet created. And also, you can look for optional ways for looking at the problem.

Creating Prototypes

The designing team can generate a number of cost-effective, scaled down versions of the product or precise characteristics found within the product so that they can look for the solutions of the problems prompted in the earlier stages. Prototypes can be tested and shared with the team members, with other teams, or with a smaller group of people outside the designing team. The main target of this section is to look for the best solutions for problems recognized in the above sections.

Testing

Designers and their testing teams dedicatedly test the whole product using the best possible solutions during the prototype creating phase. This is the last section of all these phases, but it is a continuous process. The results which we get during the testing phase are often used for redefining more problems. In this phase, you inform others team members what you understand from the users, and also a deep understanding of the product as possible.

Conclusion

The Design Thinking process is a flexible, iterative, and focused on cooperation between users and designers. It brings ideas that how real users feel, think, and behave.
