Nowadays, there has been an increasing desire to deliver digital, downloadable content to your visitors/users – White Paper. The quality of White Paper in terms of both content and design should stand out from the noise.

In this blog, I’m going to share some design tips for creating stunning White Paper.

  • An Eye-Catchy Cover

A Cover is the first thing every visitor see. It should look modern and fairly timeless, more professional. Make sure your logo is placed on the cover so that user remembers your organization.

  • Color choices

This is the most important factor as color have a direct impact. Pick colors that justify your brand. Use of bold colored header makes the clear beginning of new heading. Also, Bold colors are trending this year.

  • Images that are applicable to content

Use of images that support the main idea of the section. Pick the best image so that the interior looks professional.

  • Highlight key quotes and make them stand out

White Papers go in-depth into a topic, most of the people won’t read the entire thing. That’s why it’s a good idea to summarize key information and highlight it. For this, we can use a bigger font, or a different font rest of the content or a different color.

  • Use of charts and graphs to communicate data clearly

Use of charts, graphs or illustration will explain better the concept and adds visual interest for the user. Choose the data visualization wisely so that it makes the data easier to read, not confusing.

  • Go easy-on reader’s eye

Just break up the heavy text on the page, give room for white space it will be easy for the user to read. Font size should be easy to read for the user.I prefer 18 for easy reading on screen. We can also make use of charts or graphs to show your points as well as easy for the user.

At last, I would say if your White Paper doesn’t stand out, it’s more likely to miss. Visuals, Personalized graphics and interactive design will help you stand out and speak more.
