From a basic image editing to the top-end web or mobile UI design requirements, Photoshop CC is known to serve innumerable purpose for the design experts.


In spite of the vast tools and features that the handy application offers, it has so boundless features and designers are not aware of all of them. This article shall walk you through some out of the box features of this world’s widely used design tools. Take a look.

#1 In-App Search in Photoshop CC

A new search panel that allows you to browse Photoshop menus, tools, panels, help content Adobe Stock assets, and tutorials available within the Photoshop application.

 

This option is accessible through the keyboard shortcut CMD+F or Ctrl+F for Windows. Alternatively, you can use the new search symbol present in the upper right corner of the application.

#2 A Bunch of Free Kyle Webster

About 100 new templates for Photoshop projects; this can be found in the new File>New dialog and also at online at Adobe Stock;

 

#3 New SVG fonts

2 pre-loaded SVG fonts in the Type tool font menu

Stock templates, 3D objects and search: Adobe Stock marketplace now includes templates and 3D objects.

 

#4 Improved Selection and Mask Workspace

The newly Polygonal Lasso tool task-space toolbar allows you to view a high or low resolution preview during selection. Moreover, the sliders are now more responsive when using the Smart Radius tool;

 

#5 Enhanced Properties Panel

The Properties panel now displays information about commonly used layer types and the the document making it easier for precise adjustments.

 

#6 Click to commit text

It is now easier to click outside the text box to commit it that we previously used to click on the upper right check box of frame.

 

#7 Updated Face-Aware Liquify tool

Match Font is now capable of searching any type of font installed on your pc  that previously searched only a subset of fonts.
